South Australian Pergola Specialists was formed in June 1987 when Duncan joined his father Ron in the family business. Our goal – to specialise in timber-framed structures, such as pergolas, decks and gazebos.

Ron’s business Darron Enterprises had been operating since 1977, after Ron, who was a builder moved from the UK with his family. Ron specialised with great success in the construction of steel framed carports and verandahs .

In 1999 we became a STRATCO Outback dealer because we believed that the STRATCO all Colorbond system had a great deal to offer, with both the good looks and low maintenance demanded for today’s lifestyles.

Right from the beginning, when the family business started in 1977, we have specialised in the different and difficult jobs that many of our competitors are unable or choose not to do.

At South Australian Pergola Specialists we use our own staff and do not contract our work out to others. When we require specialist tradesman [eg electricians] we use only qualified people who we know and trust.

We believe that quality is much more important than quantity. We have no interest in getting bigger because quite simply the bigger you get the harder it is to retain the high standards that we offer to our clients and that we demand of ourselves.
